The 3C8Q61191-3 drive shaft housing (S) is a genuine OEM Tohatsu lower unit housing designed to enclose and support the vertical drive shaft. It ensures precise alignment, sealing integrity, and structural rigidity between the powerhead and gearcase. The earlier part number 3C8Q61191-1 has been superseded; the current version is 3C8Q61191-3.
This drive shaft housing is commonly used in the MD50B / MD40B and NSD40B / NSD50B model lines in MD series 40–50 HP outboards.
